Most
of the Breckenridge Music Festival events take place at the Riverwalk
Center. Nestled in the heart of the historic Town of Breckenridge,
this award-winning performing arts facility is the focal point for
summer activities. The Riverwalk Center's amphitheater is part of the
Blue River restoration project embarked on by the Town of Breckenridge
in 1992.
Prior to 1992, the Blue River and its surroundings were piles of rock
left over from dredge mining during the Breckenridge gold rush days.
The Blue River Walkway, the Riverwalk Center and the native landscape
offer a beautiful setting for picnics, special events or simply relaxing
along the banks of the river.
Free parking is available adjacent to the Riverwalk Center.
Pets of any kind are strictly prohibited at any Riverwalk Center event.
Theatre doors open one-half hour prior to the show. Cameras and recording
equipment are strictly prohibited. Patrons are prohibited from bringing
food or alcoholic beverages into the Riverwalk Center. Soft drinks, alcoholic
beverages and light snacks are available for purchase at each event.
Although the Riverwalk Center is a heated amphitheater, evenings at 9600
feet in elevation are cool. For your comfort, we suggest taking this
into consideration. Casual dress is welcome at Riverwalk Center concerts
and events. No smoking is allowed in the building or amphitheater. For
more information about the Riverwalk Center, please call (970) 547-3100.
